Welcome to the academic life at Oxford Brookes University! The Headington Library is more than just a place for books. It's a hub designed to support every aspect of your academic journey, from intense study sessions to much-needed personal breaks. Here’s a quick guide for making the most of your time and space.
How to find sources using the library home page and its electronic resources?
Searching the book collection is easy. All students or employees can borrow up books or other items using their student card or employee card at the self-issue machines, but the Final-year undergraduates, postgraduates, researchers, and staff get a higher limit of 30 items.
If students need a device, they can borrow Chromebooks and Microsoft laptops free of charge. They just need to go to the self-service lockers nearby Café Central, which is in the Abercrombie corridor, and outside the room CLC.G11 in Clerici.
If any help is needed, especially with the academic subjects, just navigate to the Course Resource Help pages on the Brookes Library website, or just go directly and ask at the Welcome Desk on Level 1.
